Display Expenditure Budget Option

To prepare your expenditure budget, you primarily will use the Display Budget option in the Budget Administrator center's Expenditure section. This option displays the Update Expenditure Budget - Administrator page where you can view and update data in the expenditure budget worksheet.

After you search for and list Expenditure Ledger accounts, the worksheet displays the following information for each account:

  • Codes and descriptions for Organization Chart and Account List records tied to the ledger account.
  • Budget amounts saved at the Requested, Recommended, Approved, and Future Year levels.
  • Approval level where the account's budget figures are frozen.

If you use budget iterations, the field above the worksheet shows the iteration and phase loaded at each standard approval level for the account that is currently selected.

You can update budget figures directly in the Update Expenditure Budget - Administrator page's worksheet. You can also add new ledger accounts, access a ledger account in the Details page, add notes to a ledger account, and if needed, delete accounts.
