Open Saved Report Files

There are three options to access your saved reports and files in PowerSchool ERP.

  • Add a Reports panel on My Dashboard. Recent reports will appear in the panel.

  • In the toolbar of most pages, click Documents.

  • From the eForms & Tools menu, select All. From the Tools menu, select View Files.

The eForms & Tools option lets you access files you stored in your report directory on the server, as well as log files used by the system to store error messages or record processing results.

Use eForms & Tools View Files

  1. From the eForms & Tools menu, select All. From the Tools menu, select View Files.

  2. The View Files page opens. The default in the Directory field is your user report directory. Select the location on your application server for the report or log file you want to print.

  3. In the File Mask field, enter the file name that you want to display or save. You can use an asterisk as a wildcard character before and after a character string that matches part of your file name. You can also enter an asterisk followed by a period and file extension to retrieve a list of all files with that file extension. For example, *.rpt returns all report files on the server that you may access with your username. Press Enter on your keyboard.

  4. Select a file and click Save to PC to save the file to your local drive, or click Accept to display the Print page for the file.
