Upload Files to the Server

The Tools menu includes the Upload Files option, which lets you upload files from a workstation to the application server. These files could be any type of file you choose, but potentially harmful file types will not be uploaded. Potentially harmful files include, but are not limited to, file extensions .exe, .bat, .com, .dll, and.vbs.

Upload a File to the Server

1. From the e-Forms & Tools menu, select All. From the Tools menu, select Upload Files.

2. The Upload Files page displays with your default report directory on the server listed in the Directory field.

3. In the Copy File Name field, click Select File to locate the file from your workstation that you want to upload to the application server.

4. In the Directory field, select the location on your application server where the uploaded file should be copied.

5. In the Server File Name field, enter a name for the file on the application server. The name will default from the Copy File Name field, but can be changed.

6. Click Accept to upload your file. Refer to Open Saved Report Files to locate the file.
