To understand procedures described in online help, you will first need some background on the PowerSchool ERP environment. When you add, search for, display, process, or print information, you work with and move between pages associated with the application you are using.
This section is designed to familiarize you with topics that are specific to PowerSchool ERP applications:
Dashboards: This is the page that opens when you log in. Every user has My Dashboard. Some users are assigned additional persona-based dashboards, for example Principal or Chief Financial Officer.
Access modules and pages in the application using cascading menus.
Review information at a glance with personalized panels.
One-click access to Search, Notifications, Favorites, and the Help Center.
Task panels for easy access to items that need your attention and action.
Page components: Most pages have standard features that are labeled and positioned consistently.
Page types: There are four basic page types in the core software that you will use frequently. These are the pages you use to search for, review, add, update, and process your database records. They include:
Record center
