Projected Depreciation Report

Menu Path:  Fixed Assets > Reports > Fixed Assets Reports > Depreciation Listings > select Calculate Projected

Use this option to generate a report projecting depreciation up to 12 months from the most recent month and year completed. You can select one of the following formats:

  • The Detail report lists asset ID and description, asset life, depreciation method, initial cost, projected depreciation, current year-to-date depreciation total, and the accumulated depreciation for each asset processed.
    The report is sorted by department and category. It also prints totals for each department and category included in the report, along with totals for the entire report.
  • The Summary report lists the total initial cost, projected depreciation, current year-to-date depreciation, and accumulated depreciation for each department and for each category within each department. The report concludes with totals for the entire report.

Generate the Projected Depreciation Report

  1. Choose the Depreciation Listings page.
  2. Enter criteria identifying the records to include, then click OK. To run an advanced search, select Advanced.
  3. Select Calculate Projected.
  4. Select the report format
    • Detail
    • Summary
  5. Click OK.
  6. Select the end month and year for the report. You can project up to 12 months from the month and year displayed.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Specify how you want to generate the report, then click OK. The default file name is:
    • Detail report - depdetal.rpt 
    • Summary report - depsummy.rpt
