System Backup

Menu Path:  System Administration, then Administration, then Backups to Disk, then Backup Fixed Assets to Disk

We recommend that you perform a full backup of your Fixed Assets database before making any major changes. A backup enables you to restore your data should you encounter significant errors during processing. For example, you should always back up your data before adding assets, retiring assets, posting depreciation, purging records, or running the year-end process.

Follow these steps:

1. Select Backup Fixed Assets to Disk. The defaults in the Backup Fixed Assets to Disk page are set up during software installation.
2. Click Yes.
