Adding Time to Supervisor Timecards
If you are a Time Entry supervisor, you access your personal timecard through the Time Entry approval page, which lists employees within a selected Time Entry department. In your Time Entry timecard page, you can enter your hours worked, record leave taken, and add notes to accompany your entries.

Menu Path: Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Time Entry > Time Entry > enter your Employee Number and Time Entry password > in the Time Entry page, select the Department and enter a Week Starting date > click OK > select your timecard record, and then click Employee Detail.
Page Sections
The Time Entry timecard page includes the following sections:
Time Entry Employee Information Displays your name, ID, Department, and Week Starting. The section also indicates whether any notes have been entered and displays the timecard's Approval Status.
Timecard Information Lets you enter your weekly hours and leave taken. When you access this section, it displays a row for each major category of pay you receive regularly. The Add Other Time button lets you choose pay codes for leave time taken along with added pay classifications you might need.
Controls Contains buttons that let you perform additional actions. For more information, refer to the Action Buttons section.
Action Buttons
The Time Entry timecard page's Controls section includes the following action buttons:
Update Password Disabled. To update your password, use the Update Password button when you first display the Time Entry supervisor page.
Add Other Time Displays the Pay Codes window for adding a pay code to your timecard.
Add/View Notes Displays a page for adding or reviewing your timecard notes.
Entering your hours worked and leave taken for a week
Select Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Time Entry > Time Entry.
Enter your Employee ID and Time Entry Password, and then click OK.
If you do not remember your login information, please contact your Time Entry administrator.
If this is your first time logging in to Time Entry, you will need to change your password. Use your employee ID as your initial password, and then set up a new password.
Select a Time Entry Department where you are assigned supervisor status.
In the Week Starting field, enter the date when the pay week began.
You need to select the date based on the weekly starting day defined in the Time Entry Profile page for Time Entry timecards.
Example: Suppose your timecards begin each week on a Sunday. To enter time for Monday, 03/17/2018 through Friday, 03/23/2018, you would enter the Week Starting as 03/16/2018 (Sunday).Click OK. The Timecard Summary Information section lists the employees in the selected Time Entry department.
Your summary information displays in the top row.
Select your record, and then click the Employee Detail button.
Your Time Entry timecard page displays. The page's Timecard Information section includes the following information:The calendar dates for the pay week.
Default hours if your Time Entry department uses shift scheduling.
Additional codes and time you already entered for the pay week.
For pay codes that already display in the timecard, record your hours worked by tabbing to the appropriate day of the week, and then entering the hours. You can enter fractional time; for example, enter 1.75 to indicate an hour and 45 minutes.
To add a pay code, refer to the next procedure.
To remove a row of information from the timecard, access the appropriate row, and then click Delete Row.
To add notes, refer to the last procedure in this section.
When you finish updating your timecard, click OK.
Select Yes in the Save Timecard confirmation dialog.
Adding a pay code for entering additional time on your timecard
In the Timecard Information section, tab to a blank row.
Click Add Other Time in the Controls section.
The Pay Codes window displays, showing all records in the Pay Code table that have been set up for Time Entry.Select the pay code you want to use, and then click OK to add the pay code to your timecard.
Enter the additional time.
Adding Notes to your timecard
In the Controls section, click the Add/View Notes button.
The Timecard Notes page displays.Enter your notes, and then click OK.
In the Save Notes confirmation, click Yes.
