Calendar YTD

Use this option to generate a report on employees' year-to-date wage and tax accruals.

  • The Payroll Calendar YTD Totals report includes the total wages paid, earnings subject to federal, state, local, FICA, and Medicare taxes, EIC credits, and tax amounts withheld. It also includes the FICA and Medicare amounts paid by the employer.

  • The report lists all employees in your database, including those whose pay rates are terminated, that have values other than 0.00 in the Year fields on the Earnings and Withholdings tabs in the Employee Information detail page.

  • You can sort the report by either the check locations on employees' Payroll/Tax Data records, employee names, or Social Security numbers.

  • The display of employees' Social Security numbers in the report is determined by the user's security and a setting in the Human Resources Profile.

Menu Path:  Human Resources > Reports > Periodic > Calendar YTD

Generating the Payroll Calendar YTD Totals report

  1. Select Human Resources > Reports > Periodic > Calendar YTD.

  2. In the Report Sort Options section, select one of the following radio buttons:
    Sort by Location (check location)
    Sort by Name
    Sort by Social Security Number

  3. Click OK.

  4. In the Print window, specify how to generate the report, and then click OK. The report's default file name is ytdtot1.rpt for Check Location, ytdtot2.rpt for Name and ytdtot3.rpt for Social Security Number.
