Course Types

Use this table to define codes identifying the type of course, which will be used to associate courses with a type of employee. For example, a course on food safety may only apply to cafeteria staff while a CPR course may apply to all employees. The records entered in this table will be used in the Employee Type Mapping table.

By defining course types and mapping these types to employee types, you can control which courses are presented to specific employee types. When a course is not associated with a course type, it will be available to all employee types.

The Course Types Table report's default file name is course_type.rpt. For the procedures for listing, adding, updating, deleting, and printing table records, refer to Reference Table Options and Procedures.
