Display Activity Records
Use the Activity page to review activity records for a selected employee.
Menu Path
From the Human Resources menu, select Entry & Processing. From the Activity Tracker menu, select Track Activities.
Display Employee Activity Records
As an alternative to Step 1, you can access the Activity page from an employee's Employee Information page by clicking Personnel Information on the page's Action Bar and then selecting Activity Tracker.
On the Personnel Activity Tracker page, in the page's Search Criteria section, enter criteria to identify one or more employees, and then click Find. To run an advanced search, click the Advanced button.
Select the employee whose records you want to view, and then click OK to display the employee's Activity page.
The page's List section displays the employee's activity records. Note that data for the first record (selected) appears in the display-only fields in the Activity Information and Activity Detail sections.To display data for subsequent Activity records, use the down arrow key.
Fields and Descriptions
Activity Information Section
Field | Description |
---|---|
Employee Number | The employee's ID number. |
Situation Type | Code from the Situation Type table that identifies the activity. |
Start Date (required) | Displays either the date the activity began or the date the record was added. |
Stop Date | The date the activity ended. The field may be blank if the activity does not have an end date. The Start Date and Stop Date may be the same, for example, in a Leave Without Pay record where the employee was absent for one day. |
Description (recommended) | Brief description of the activity. The limit is 25 characters. |
Activity Detail Section
Lists fields that are associated with the Situation Type displayed. These records, which include user-defined fields, are set up in Personnel's Situation Type reference table.
