Earnings by Pay Code

Use this option to review earnings information stored in employees' Pay Code records. After you select employees, the Earnings by Pay Code page displays employee ID's, last and first names, and the pay codes applied during pay runs. The data for each employee includes:

Current (most recent pay run)

Hours


Month-to-Date

Hours

Earned

Quarter-to-Date


Earned

Year-to-Date

Hours

Earned

Fiscal Year-to-Date


Earned

Employees may appear more than once in the display or report if they were paid using more than one pay code.

Menu Path

From the Human Resources menu, select Entry & Processing. From the Detailed Displays menu, Earnings by Pay Code.

Display Earnings Data

  1. On the Earnings by Pay Code page, in the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the records to list, and then click Search. To run an advanced search, use the Advanced button.

  2. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the list.

  3. Click Back to return to the Search Criteria section.

Generate the Earnings by Pay Code List Report

  1. On the Earnings by Pay Code page, in the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the records to list, and then click Search. To run an advanced search, use the Advanced button.

  2. Click Print.

  3. In the Print window, specify how to generate the report, and then click OK. The report's default file name is earn_paycode.rpt.

Fields and Descriptions

Field

Description

Employee Number

Employee's ID number. To enter multiple ID's, for example, insert the pipe symbol between IDs, for example,12345|21098|23456.

Last Name

Employee's last name.

First Name

Employee's first name.

Pay Code

Code identifying a Pay Code record. You can select an individual pay code or use the pipe symbol to enter multiple codes, for example,112|113|114. Leave the field blank to include all pay codes.
