EEO Data

Use this option to generate the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) report. The type of report produced by your system depends on the setting in the EEO Report Default field of your Human Resources Profile:

EEO4

State and Local Government Information report categorizes local and state government employees by EEO-defined functions, full/part-time status, sex, race, and earnings.

EEO5

Elementary-Secondary Staff Information report categorizes school district employees based on job class codes, assignments, sex, ethnicity, race, and full/part-time status.

Both EEO4/EEO5

Enables you to choose either the EEO4 or EEO5 report.
The EEO4 option displays the EEO4 Data page, while the EEO5 option displays the EEO5 Data page. If you need to generate both reports, you can run the EEO Data option twice.

Note

Neither report will export to Excel.

Race/Ethnicity Categories

Both EEO-4 and EEO-5 reports categorize employees by the following race/ethnic groups as defined by the EEOC:

  • Hispanic or Latino

  • White (Not Hispanic or Latino)

  • Black or African American (Not Hispanic or Latino)

  • Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander (Not Hispanic or Latino)

  • Asian (Not Hispanic or Latino)

  • American Indian or Alaska Native (Not Hispanic or Latino)

  • Two or More Races (Not Hispanic or Latino)

Race and ethnicity data is retrieved from the Race/Ethnicity tab on the Employee Information page.
