Employee Type Mapping

Use this table to match employee types, which are defined in the Employee Types table in Human Resources, with course types, which are defined in Professional Development's Course Types table. This mapping allows you to determine which courses are available for which employees.

By defining course types and mapping them to employee types, Professional Development controls which courses are presented to employee types. For example, courses intended for Spanish instructors would not be available for transportation staff. When a course is not identified with a course type, it will be presented to all employee types. Use the Course Definition page to assign the course type to a particular course.

The Employee Type Mappings Table report's default name is type_mapping.rpt. For the procedures for listing, adding, updating, deleting, and printing table records, refer to Reference Table Options and Procedures.
