FIPS Code Table
Use the FIPS Codes option to set up and maintain the Federal Information Process Standard codes. These codes identify the agency that processes child support garnishments.
The FIPS code is used in addendum records for child support deductions. When adding an addendum to an employee's deduction record, the FIPS code defaults based on the state of the vendor associated with the deduction. This table has been pre-populated with 5–digit codes for each state that can be modified if necessary. You can also add additional FIPS codes based on your organization's needs. For more information, refer to Child Support Garnishments.
The default file name of the FIPS Code Table report is fips_codes.rpt.
