Gender Identity Codes
Use this table to enter additional gender identity options that may be used in reporting. Some reporting requires this data in addition to Sex at Birth (formerly Gender) data. You can add additional records as defined by your state or district.
Menu Path
From the Human Resources menu, select Reference Tables. From the Personnel menu, select Gender Identity.
About the Gender Identity Table
You cannot delete the Male and Female Gender Identity codes from the table.
If you edit a Gender Identity table record, employee records tied to that Gender Identity table record will also be updated.
If you have assigned a Gender Identity to an employee and you delete the Gender Identity record from the reference table, the Gender Identity in the employee record will revert to match the Sex at Birth.
20.11 and later.
You can allow employees to self-identify this option from the table-defined list if you are using a compatible version of Employee Access Center. Set the following Employee Information Setup identifiers to Yes:

6002: Show Gender Identity
6003: Allow Update of Gender Identity
