Human Resources - Highly Qualified Teacher

Highly Qualified Teacher reporting relies on two sets of tables that are used to document a teacher's qualifications. One set relates directly to Human Resources, while the other applies to the Position Control System.

For additional information on the tables used in Highly Qualified Teacher records, refer to Personnel Tables and Education Tables.

Menu Path:  Human Resources > Reference Tables > select an option from the Education or Personnel listing

Human Resources

The following tables are used in Human Resources to determine teachers' qualifications:

Credential Codes

Qualification Methods

Requirement Codes

Qualification Codes

Qualification Statuses


These tables can be accessed from the Personnel listing on the Human Resources' Reference Tables menu.

Position Control

Position Control uses all of the tables, except Credential Code, that apply to Human Resources, plus several additional tables. Following are the tables used in Position Control to create Highly Qualified Teacher records:

Certification Areas

Degree Levels

Qualification Codes

Certification Types

Degree Subjects

Qualification Statuses

Degrees

Degree Subject Types

Requirement Codes

These tables can be accessed from the Education and Personnel listings on Human Resources' Reference Tables menu. The tables can be completed in any order, except for the following:

Primary Table

Secondary (complete first)

Degrees

Degree Levels

Degree Subjects

Degree Subject Types
