Maintenance Paid to Date

Use this option to change paid-to-date amounts for a selected employee. Changing this value also changes the employee's contract balance for the pay rate affected. The new balance is subsequently shown in a display-only field in the Maintenance Paid to Date page, along with the contract limit.

You can change the contract limit in an employee's pay rate, but not the balance and paid-to-date amount. The system updates this data during pay runs. The Maintenance Paid to Date option allows you to add or subtract from the paid-to-date value and thereby change the remaining amount the employee can be paid in the contract year.
