Moving Professional Development Courses

Use the Move to Continuing Ed item on the Courses page to move course records from Professional Development to Continuing Education. You can move a single course or group of courses. When a course is moved, a Continuing Education course record is created for each employee who was registered in the Professional Development course.

All courses that display in the Course page's List section may be moved to Continuing Education when the Move to Continuing Ed item is selected, depending on their status. Two conditions apply for moving a course:

  • The course's Status must be CC- Complete. If the course has a different status, the administrator can edit this by selecting the course, clicking OK to display the Course page, and then changing the Status to CC - Complete in the page's Course Information section.

  • The course must also have a Class Type assigned in Human Resources.

Menu Path:  Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Professional Development > Courses > search for and display a list of courses > select Move to Continuing Ed on the Action Bar
