Question Setup
This section provides information on setting up and maintaining questions associated with the position types used in job postings.
Four types of questions are used in Recruitment:
Standard Questions that will appear on all job postings for a position type.
Question bank questions that a hiring manager can choose to include when creating a job posting.
Questions that can be sent to references the applicant designates on their application.
Questions that can be sent to previous employers the applicant designates on their application.
Both the standard application and question bank questions allow you to select if you want to roll an applicant's response from one application to another and synchronize the response back to previous applications for job postings that are still open. Verifications of applicant's responses can also be synchronized from one application to another.
Your organization will need to define the questions associated with a position type before creating any job postings. Once a posting is submitted, the questions on the job posting cannot be changed.
Important
Do not change any questions associated with a position type once applicants start applying for job postings if you intend to roll and synchronize responses and verifications.
