Miscellaneous Billing: Printing a Statement Creates Attachment

In Miscellaneous Billing, a copy is saved as a PDF and associated with the customer record when a statement is printed. To display statements, select the customer record and click the attachment icon. Select an attachment to display or download.

Terminated Employees Sent from PowerSchool ERP to Employee Records

Employees terminated in PowerSchool ERP are updated in Employee Records through the Sync 9 payload with the deactivation flag sent as True.

On the employee termination window in PowerSchool ERP, if the user enters both the last worked date and last date to pay for the employee, the termination payload would be triggered on the next day after the last worked day, deactivating the employee in Records.

On the employee termination window in PowerSchool ERP, if the user enters only the last date to pay for the employee, the termination payload would be triggered on the next day after the last date to pay, deactivating the employee in Records.

If an PowerSchool ERP user terminates an employee and reactivates the employee before the last worked date or last day to pay entered in PowerSchool ERP, no payload is triggered. There is no impact in Records.

Genero, the programming tool used by core PowerSchool ERP, is upgraded to the latest version as part of the PowerSchool ERP 20.11.38.0 release.

User-friendly Message During Maintenance Release

While installing a maintenance release, not all PowerSchool ERP servers need the updates to be applied. If a release has no updates for a specific server, the install wizard will display a message: “No updates are needed on this server. No PowerSchool ERP software can be found installed on this server.”

Fixed Job Class not Updating in Attendance Page on Substitute Data Tab

Code changes were made so that if a user changes the Pay Code on an attendance record and the Class and Pay Code combination does not match a payrate assigned to the substitute employee, then the Class is changed to the default value.

Handling of Resource 311 May Query Only in Employee Information, Personnel Tab, Contract Type

If a user had security resource 311 for May Query Personnel Data (but no additional resources for Add/Change), they were able to edit Contract fields on the Employee Information Personnel Tab.  This is resolved and the Contract field is read-only based on the resource.

Correction to the ETS install scripts to disable ETS2 features and enable ETS3 features.  This resolves a fatal error in the Employee Information page when displaying or editing an employee that has multiple departments in ETS.

Unhandled Exception Error in EAC When Leave Information is Clicked

Resolved Unhandled Exception error in EAC when clicking Leave Information.  Removed legacy code in EAC checking for fields lv1_cd thru lv10_cd to exist in payroll table. The fields are required for PowerSchool ERP 5.2 and later. Fixed validation that caused a fatal error.

What If Calculator Invalid Character Error

Fixed an issue that was causing an error when the Check Title of a deduction used in the What If Paycheck Calculator contained special characters including parenthesis, percent sign, underscore, period, or slash mark.

Add Favorites Issue

When adding a favorite from a page using Add Favorite icon, Favorite Groups were not populating after being added. A user had to exit and re-enter the page for the group to appear. This has been resolved.

Resolved radio button toggling issue happening in Current Monthly or Quarterly Salary Data while generating the report. The radio button will remain on the user selection.

Leave requests are displayed on the leave information page even if the employee does not have any attendance records.

Fatal Error in Job Class Inventory Report

Fixed fatal error in job class inventory report when selecting multiple job classes. A user can now select many job classes without an error. A character limit has been increased to prevent the error.

Increased Client_name Column Size in Attachment Database

The client_name column in all tables in the attachment database was increased in size from a char(20) to a varchar(256) to handle databases with long names. A brand new attachment database is created with the increased size, but columns for an existing database were not being updated. The update will occur as part of the 20.11.38 release install process.

A modification has been made to the Create W2C process to include and print a foreign address. The process also identifies and prints the corrected status of the Statutory Employee, Retirement Plan, and Third Party Sick checkboxes.

The application is modified to correct a fatal error generated while running the load in the Civil Rights Data Collection under Maintain Location Information.
