Post Aesop Attendance

The Post Aesop Attendance option creates attendance records from the records loaded from the Load Aesop Attendance option and generates two reports. Only records in the aesattend table for the selected Run number with a Posted value of "Y" will be posted to the attendance table.

Processing
The Post Aesop Attendance option requires entry of an Aesop Run Number. The AESOP Run Number is the Run Number entered at the time the aesattend records were loaded. For consistency, it is recommended that the site use the pay run number for the pay period as the run number. The program will process each aesattend record and create an attend table record for any record without errors.
The Post option creates the following reports. For sample reports, refer to the Reports chapter.
- Posting Report (aes_attn_post.rpt). The post log lists the pertinent information for each attendance record and whether an attendance record was created. Any records shown in with a Posted value of "N" did not have attendance records created for them and now must be entered manually.
- Error Log (aes_attn_err.rpt). The error log lists all error and warning messages for the records run. The log is generated only if errors are found.
The program will display the following prompt after processing all records. The user can choose Yes to post the records or No to cancel.
