Vacant Position Increase Report

Use this option to simulate salary increase calculations for vacant positions. The simulation produces the same results as the Salary and Fringe Calculation option but without changing records in your work file. This enables you to review budget projections before running the actual calculations.

The Vacant Position Increases report's data includes:

Job Classes

Effective Dates

Percentage/Amount Increases

Pay Methods

Days Worked

Budgeted Rates/Salaries

The report also lists the number of vacancies for each position, expressed as a full-time equivalency (FTE) value. For the procedure for generating reports, refer to Report Options and Procedure.

For a report simulating salary increases for current employees, refer to Employee Rate Increase Report. Both options use the same default file name, emplincr.rpt. If you intend to run and store the two reports, be sure to change the name for at least one of the files.
