Persona-Based Dashboard

20.11 and later.

Personas define specific user types and persona-based dashboards provide standard dashboards of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) panels related to each role. You cannot add or delete panels on a persona dashboard but you can adjust the data pulled into them. You must have required resources for KPI panels to appear. Required resources include super user, system administrator, supervisor for Fund Accounting or Human Resources for their respective KPI panels, or individual resources for each KPI, which can be assigned individually or through a role.

A database administrator assigns persona-based dashboards to security user profiles as needed. If you have one or more persona-based dashboards assigned, click the tab to display a different dashboard. Every user has My Dashboard.

Persona-based dashboards include:

  • Principal

  • HR Director

  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

On the User Preferences page, set a default dashboard that appears upon login.

Review and Adjust KPI Details

  1. To review the data that is pulled into a KPI panel, select View Detail.

  2. Refine the data by making selections in the Filter fields.

  3. To add elements to refine the filter, select the appropriate list, then select one or more items.

    1. As you make selections, the page refreshes.

    2. To remove an element from the filter, click the X.

    3. To maintain the adjusted settings on the dashboard panel, select Save as Default.

  4. To exit the detail without saving the adjusted filters, select Back to Dashboard.

Security permissions apply to the data available in KPI panels.
