Disposal Procedures

Use the following procedures to retire assets and remove records from your database that are no longer needed.

• The Retire option in the Asset Information page removes assets from active use. Once you retire an asset, you can no longer make changes to its record. Retiring an asset also enables you to purge its record.
• The Purge Retired Assets option removes retired assets from your database.
