Setup

Prior to entering receipts in the system, set up the reference tables to hold cash register configurations, revenue codes, and other vital system information.

Revenue codes define where in the system a customer's payment will be posted, such as the Utility Billing system for a water bill payment, and where the money for the receipt will be applied once it is interfaced to the Fund Accounting system.
