Certification Types

Use this table to identify the level of certification held by an applicant or employee, such as Temporary or Permanent. Besides a code, a Certification Type record includes a description. These records are used in conjunction with Certification Area codes to document applicant's certifications, when applying for a job posting.

In Recruitment, the Certification Types are used when tracking qualified applicants and are used in the Type field of an applicant's response to a question defined with the response type Certificates.

The Certification Type Table report's default file name is certtype.rpt. For the procedures for searching for, adding, updating, deleting, and printing table records, refer to Standard Reference Table Procedures.

Title

Title or description of the certification type. Character/20

Exclude from Civil Rights Data Collection

Option to exclude the certification type from Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC).
