Degree

Use this table to identify the degrees applicants and employees hold. In addition to entering records for Bachelor's, Master's, and other degrees, you can use the Degree table to set up codes to reference postgraduate studies where a degree was not conferred, for example, Bachelor's + 15 Credits. In Recruitment, degrees are used in responding to a question defined with a response type of Education.

The default file name for the Degree Table report is degrees.rpt. For the procedures for searching for, adding, updating, deleting, and printing table records, refer to Standard Reference Table Procedures.

Field

Description

Degree

Code identifying the degree and, optionally, levels of postgraduate credit. Character/4

Title

Title or description of the degree. Character/35

Degree Level

Integer identifying the level of a degree in relation to Highly Qualified Teacher requirements, as defined in the Degree Level table. Select a level from the field’s drop-down list, which displays all records in the table.

State Degree Code

State-assigned code identifying a degree level or specific type of degree. Character/4
