Employee Records
There are important setup considerations in the employee record in order for an individual to have access to Time Entry and the correct pay codes. Also, the employee record has settings for the employee's Time Entry ID, password, department, and, if applicable, supervisor status.
While employee records and Time Entry administration are not likely handled by the same personnel where you work, it is still helpful to have a synthesized explanation of the employee settings that affect Time Entry.
The following sections describe which employee record settings relate to Time Entry, where these settings are stored, and how to access them. Specifically, we will look at the Employee Information page's Payroll and Leave Bank tabs, as well as the page's Time Entry and Pay Rates items.
Menu Path: Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Employee > Employee Information, search for and select the appropriate employee, and then click OK.
