Forgot Username or Password

The Recruitment Portal Log In page also allows an external applicant to submit a request for their user name or password using the Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? link. These options will require the applicant to enter the email address on file with your organization to receive an email with the requested information.

The Forgot Username? and Forgot Password? links are available on the Recruitment Portal's Log In page.

Requesting a forgotten user name

  1. To request a forgotten user name, the external applicant will access the Portal's Log In page using the link provided by your organization.

  2. The applicant will click the Forgot Username? link, either in the center of the page, or from the lower-left menu. The Forgot Your Username? page will display.

  3. The external applicant will enter the Email Address they provided to your organization when they registered and click Next. An Identity Confirmation page will display with the security question the external applicant selected when they registered.

  4. In the Answer field, the external applicant will enter the answer they provided when they registered and click Submit.

  5. A confirmation will display, and the external applicant will receive their user name via email in addition to a second email containing a new, randomly-generated password.

  6. The applicant will be required to login with their user name and new password.

  7. When an applicant logs in after receiving this password, the Change Your Password page will display, and the applicant will be required to change the password before they can perform any other actions on the Portal.

Requesting a forgotten password

  1. To request a forgotten password, the external applicant will access the Portal's Log In page using the link provided by your organization.

  2. The applicant will click the Forgot Password? link, either in the center of the page or from the lower-left menu. The Forgot Your Password? page will display.

  3. The external applicant will enter their Recruitment user name in the Username field, and click Next. An Identity Confirmation page will display with the security question the external applicant selected when they registered.

  4. In the Answer field, the external applicant will enter the answer they provided when they registered and click Submit.

  5. A confirmation will display, and the external applicant will receive a new, randomly-generated password via email. The external applicant will need to use the new password to log into the Portal.

  6. When an applicant logs in after receiving this password, the Change Your Password page will display, and the applicant will be required to change the password before they can perform any other actions on the Portal.
