Highly Qualified Teachers For Position Control
Position Control provides several pages for linking positions to Highly Qualified Teacher requirements. These pages can be accessed from Position Control's New Position, Edit Position, Mass Update Positions, and Batch Position Edit pages.
Position Control Linking Pages
The following pages are used to link qualifications, certifications, requirements, and degrees to positions in Position Control.
Link Qualified Area to Position Page | Use this page to link Qualification codes to positions. The page includes Code fields for selecting codes from the Personnel’s Qualification Code table. |
Certification Code Setup Page | Use this page to link codes from the Certification Type and Certification Area tables to positions. In addition to fields for each of these codes, the page includes Require fields to designate certifications as required. |
Link Requirement to Position Page | Use this page to link Requirement codes to positions. The page includes Code fields for selecting codes from the Personnel’s Requirement Code table. |

Adding and Changing Position Records
The New Position and Edit Position pages in Position Control enable you to add and change position records. During either process, you can access the Link Qualified Area to Position, Certification Code Setup, Link Requirement to Position, and Degree Linking Selection pages for entering qualifications related to Highly Qualified Teacher standards.Adding and Changing Position Records
