Job Classes
In Recruitment, the Job Class table is used when creating a job posting. Based on the position type selected for a job posting, a job class linked to the position type can be selected. These codes allow you to group applicants and employees in similar positions that share the same salary, schedule, calendar, pay code, pay method, pay group, deduction/benefit codes, and leave codes. Recruitment uses the Class Code, Position Type, Bargaining Unit, and Job Description from the Job Class Table.
The Job Classes Table report's default name is jobclass.rpt. For the procedures for searching for, adding, updating, deleting, and printing table records, refer to Standard Reference Table Procedures.

Job Class Table Reports
You can generate two types of Job Class Table reports. When you click Print, the Selection window displays the following options:
Print - Generates the Job Class table in ascending order. The report's default file name is jobclass.rpt.
Defaults - Generates a list of the default deductions, leave codes, and pay information for each job class. The report's default file name is class.rpt.
