Pay Rate Record
An employee's Pay Rate records are accessed using the Pay Rates item in the Payroll Information group on the Employee Information detail page's Action Bar. This item displays the Pay Rate Information page, which lists all pay rates established for the current employee. To view detail, select a pay rate, and then click OK.
In terms of Time Entry, employee Pay Rate records are important because of the pay code assigned for each pay rate. By default, Time Entry displays pay codes for employee pay rates as long as the pay codes are set up correctly in the Pay Code table.
When employees access Time Entry timecards, they enter a starting date for the pay week. The system displays pay codes in the timecard as long as the pay week starting date falls within the Start and End Dates of an individual Pay Rate record's calendar.
