Posting Applications Section

The Applicant Details page's Posting Applications section displays applications for specific postings that the applicant has saved or submitted through the Recruitment Portal. The section lists the Posting ID, position title, location, and application status, which are displayed by descending posting ID number.

When a Human Resources staff member selects an application from the Posting Applications section, the responses the applicant has saved or submitted for the job posting will display in the Application section to the right of the list.

Important

We do not recommend using the Posting Applications section for making changes to applicants' responses on their applications or for adding new applications for applicants.

If changes are necessary, we recommend using the Figure icon in the Impersonate column of the Applicant Overview page to access the Recruitment Portal as the applicant and make the changes there.

Menu Path:  Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Recruitment > Applicant Overview > search for an applicant > click the Pencil icon in the applicant's Edit column to display the Applicant Details page

Following are the procedures for adding, displaying or editing, and deleting applications from the Applicant Detail page's Posting Applications section.

Adding a new posting application

  1. Select Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Recruitment > Applicant Overview to display the Applicant Overview page.
  2. In the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the applicants to list, and then click Find.
  3. Click the Pencil icon in the applicant's Edit column.
  4. In the Applicant Details page, click the Add Post icon in the header of the Posting Applications section.
  5. In the Add New Posted Application window, enter criteria in the search fields at the top:

    Posting ID

    Position Title

    Position Type

    Location

    Include Closed Postings

    Closed After

    Note
    The Closed After field, which accepts a date, displays only if the Include Closed Postings checkbox is selected.
    Applications that match the search criteria will automatically display in the window's List section.

  6. Select the application, and then click Add to add it to the applicant's record.
    The questions from the application will display in the specific application section of the Applicant Details page.
  7. Fill in required fields on the application, and click Save to save the additions or Submit to submit the application.

Displaying or editing a posting application

  1. Select Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Recruitment > Applicant Overview to display the Applicant Overview page.
  2. In the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the applicants to list, and then click Find.
  3. Click the Pencil icon in the applicant's Edit column.
  4. In the Applicant Details page's Posting Applications section, click the Select link for the application to display or edit.
    The application's information will display in the Application section to the right of the Posting Applications section. The application is divided into sections that are based on the questions included in the job posting.

Deleting a posting application

  1. Select Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Recruitment > Applicant Overview to display the Applicant Overview page.
  2. In the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the applicants to list, and then click Find.
  3. Click the Pencil icon in the applicant's Edit column.
  4. In the Applicant Details page's Posting Applications section, select the application to delete, and then click X in the section's header.
  5. In the confirmation dialog, click OK.

Fields

Following are descriptions for the specific application section, which will display when an application is selected from the Posting Applications section. The fields in this section will vary depending on the question type in the application.

Application

Lists the posting identification number, the position title, and the position description for the selected application.

Status

Identifies the status of the selected application.

+ Expand All

Link to expand all sections on the application.

Link to collapse all sections on the application.

Status

System-assigned status of the verification.

Expiration Date

Date the current verification will expire.

Verified By

The name of the user that completed the verification.

Verified Date

The system-assigned date when the verification was completed.

Reset Verification

Checkbox to reset the completed verifications for the question response.
