Bid List Mailing Labels

Use this option to print standard-sized labels for mailing Bid Lists to vendors. The labels measure 4" wide x 15/16" deep, printing two across.

You can select vendors by commodity classes and vendor numbers. The address information used is taken from the Vendor List.

Generating mailing labels

1. Select Vendor Bidding > Reports > Vendor Bidding Reports > Bid List Mailing Labels to display the Bid List Mailing Labels page.
2. In the Commodity Class field, enter selection criteria to identify the classes that apply to the Bid List you are mailing. This selects the vendors associated with the classes. The first three digits of a commodity code define the commodity's class.
   • To limit printing to a single class, select the class from the drop-down list.
   • To specify multiple classes, insert the pipe symbol between class codes, for example, 120|200|310.
   • To include all classes, leave the field blank.
3. In the Vendor Number field, enter selection criteria to identify the vendors receiving the Bid List.
   • To select multiple vendors, insert the pipe symbol between their codes, for example, 1050|1225|1430.
   • To select all vendors, leave the field blank.
4. Click OK.
5. In the Print window, specify how to generate the report, and then click OK. The report's default file name is bidlabel.rpt.
