Print Requests Page
The Print Requests item on the Update Request page's Action Bar enables you to generate printed or electronic copies of stock item requests. The documents produced can be used to obtain approvals, if required, or to confirm orders with those who placed them.
A Reprint option is also available for making copies after you generate the initial printed request. This is especially useful if changes were made to the request after it was first printed.
The requests generated include the following information:
- Stock numbers and quantities ordered, including back orders.
- Unit prices, total cost of each line item, and total request cost.
- Stock item descriptions and unit measurements.
- Expenditure Ledger and Project Ledger account information.
Menu Path: Warehouse Inventory > Entry & Processing > Warehouse Inventory > Warehouse Administration > click Requests > search for and list requests > click Print Requests on the Action Bar
Using the Print Requests Page
The Print Requests page's options select records based on whether request records were previously printed. To determine this, the system refers to the Printed field in the Request Header table (invreq).
The Printed field is updated from N - No to Y - Yes when a request is processed with the page's Print Requests option. Once the field is updated, the request can only be printed using the Reprint Requests option.
Generating printed or electronic copies of requests
- Select Warehouse Inventory > Entry & Processing > Warehouse Inventory > Warehouse Administration to display the Warehouse Administration page.
