Depreciation Listings
Menu Path: Fixed Assets > Reports > Fixed Assets Reports > Depreciation Listings
Use this option to generate reports showing projected or past depreciation. You can produce the reports in detail or summary format. They include:
- Projected Depreciation - This projects depreciation up to 12 months from the most recent month and year completed.
- Historical Depreciation - This shows the past depreciation of selected assets. You can include or exclude assets that are either fully depreciated or retired.
Fields
Both reports use the same page for entering selection criteria. Except where noted, the page's fields provide drop-downs showing the available selections. To include all selections for a particular field, leave the field blank.
Field | Description |

Asset ID | Unique code that combines with an improvement number to identify an individual asset or improvement. |
Description | Description of the asset. |
Category | The classification assigned to the assets, as defined in the Fixed Assets' Category Codes table. These classifications are different from the Major Class settings in the table's records. |
Department | Department where the assets are assigned, as defined in Fixed Assets' Department Codes table. |
Location | The physical location of the asset, as defined in Fixed Assets' Location Codes table. |
