Location Codes Table
Menu Path: Fixed Assets > Reference Tables > Reference Tables > Location Codes
Use this table to set up codes identifying where an asset is located. When you add an asset, you enter a location code from this table. Location codes can also be used when querying to create reports; for example, you can list all assets in a particular building.
If you interface with the Purchasing System, use the Location Codes table to enter Ship To codes for potential fixed assets in Purchasing.
The report default file name is location.rpt.
If your organization uses the Fixed Assets Communicator module, you must create a record with the code 99999999. By default, this code is used in all asset records uploaded into Fixed Assets with Fixed Assets Communicator.
