Reference Table Options and Procedures
Menu Path: Fixed Assets > Reference Tables > select a table option

Fixed Assets Communicator
If you use Fixed Assets Communicator to upload asset data from a third-party application into Fixed Assets, you need to add a record with the code 99999999 to the following Fixed Assets reference tables:
Activity Codes
Category Codes
Department Codes
Function Codes
Funding Source Codes
Location Codes
When you upload asset data, the system defaults the 99999999 table records into the appropriate fields for each asset record in Fixed Assets.
View Table Records
Choose Fixed Assets > Reference Tables, and then select a table option.
In the Search section, enter criteria identifying the records to list, and then click Find. To run an advanced search, use the Advanced button.
Add Table Records
Choose Fixed Assets > Reference Tables, and then select a table option.
Click Add New.
In the Detail section, enter a unique code in the Code field, and then complete the remaining fields.
Click OK.
Update Table Records
Choose Fixed Assets > Reference Tables, and then select a table option.
Enter criteria identifying the records to list, then click Find. To run an advanced search, use the Advanced button.
Choose the record to update, then click OK.
In the Detail section, change the desired fields. You cannot change the Code field, since this field identifies the record.
Click OK.
Delete Table Records
Choose Fixed Assets > Reference Tables, and then select a table option.
Enter criteria identifying the records to list, then click Find. To run an advanced search, use the Advanced button.
Choose the record to delete.
Click Delete.
Click Yes.
Print Table Records
Choose Fixed Assets > Reference Tables, and then select a table option.
Enter criteria identifying the records to list, then click Find. To run an advanced search, use the Advanced button.
Click Print.
Specify how you want to generate the report, then click OK.
