Fixed Assets - User Defined Codes Table

Menu Path:  Fixed Assets > Reference Tables > Reference Tables > User Defined Codes

If you add user-defined fixed asset pages to your system, use this table to set up codes for fields whose entries require table verification. This is linked to the System Administration Defined Windows.

The report default file name is udstable.rpt.

Fields

Field

Description

Table Code

Code identifying the table against which a required field on a user-defined fixed asset window is verified.

The table code is associated with specific user-defined page fields in the Fixed Assets Profile.

Code

Code identifying an individual record in a user-defined table. For all user-defined page fields verified against a specific user-defined table code, the system only accepts codes established for that table code.

For instance, suppose that a user-defined page field is verified against the user-defined table AU which stores personnel authorized to use the asset. For the AU table code, you would establish codes and descriptions for all authorized personnel you need to assign to fixed assets. The code could be the last name, and the title could the person’s full name.

Title

Description associated with the code in a User Defined Table record.
