Periodic Processes

Run the following processes as needed:

  • Run the Backup Fixed Assets to Disk option to create a copy of the information currently stored in your database. You should perform a full backup of your data before making any major changes, such as adding assets, retiring assets, posting depreciation, or performing year-end processing.
  • Run the Transaction History option from the Fixed Assets menu to track additions, changes, and deletions to your fixed asset records. Transaction History identifies the asset record affected, transaction date and time, field affected, old and new values, and login ID of the operator who processed the record.
