Configuration Options
The Recruitment system provides a wide range of configuration options to enable your organization to set up the system specifically for its hiring needs. These options are found in two groupings on the System Administration menu:
Recruitment System Configuration
Recruitment Portal Configuration
In addition, System Administration's Workflow Configuration Profile enables you to set up notifications for when new jobs are posted and applicants are recommended for hire.
Recruitment System Configuration Profile
Menu Path: System Administration > All > Recruitment System Configuration > select an option
Following are the options on the Recruitment System Configuration listing on the System Administration menu:
Email Template Setup | Enables you to define the templates that are used throughout Recruitment for generating various types of email notifications. |
Employment Checklist Setup | Enables you to define a list of items that need to be completed by your staff to bring a new employee on board. |
External Integration | Enables you to enter the required interfacing information provided by Gallup if your organization is a member. |
Hire Process Email Setup | Enables you to select which email notifications you to send during the hiring process and which email templates to use. |
Hiring Manager View Setup | Enables you to define when a hiring manager can view the applicant pool, how applicants are tracked, and what the hiring manager can do on the Posting review and Applicant Review pages for a job posting. |
Position Requisition Setup | Enables you to determine whether to show specific questions and core areas when adding a new job posting. If your organization is using Position Control, you can also allow hiring managers to enter position transfers if there are not enough FTE's for a position. In addition, an option is provided to allow creating a new position when a job posting is being entered. |
Pre-Employment Checklist Setup | Enables you to define a list of checks and verifications that need to be completed by your staff prior to hiring an applicant. |

Recruitment Portal Configuration Profile
Menu Path: System Administration > All > Recruitment Portal Configuration > select an option
Following are the options on the Recruitment Portal Configuration listing on the System Administration menu:
Documents Configuration | Enables you to upload documents that your organization would require an applicant to complete prior to being hired. |
Help Configuration | Enables you to create a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) list that may help an applicant when using your organization's Recruitment Portal and applying for a job posting. |
Online Menu Options | Enables you to determine what menu options will display on the Recruitment Portal for applicants and whether you want the default menu option titles or you want to configure your own titles for the options. |
Online Presentation & Options | Enables you to configure your organization's Recruitment Portal appearance and the information that will display to applicants prior to applying for a job posting. |
Privacy Statement Setup | Enables you to enter your organization's privacy statement, which can be viewed by applicants on the Portal. |
Welcome Page Setup | Enables you to create a welcome page which will appear to applicants on the Portal. |

Workflow Configuration Profile
Two Workflow Configuration options are used in the Recruitment system:
Postings | System Administration > Administration > Profiles > Workflow Configuration Profile > Recruitment > Postings Determines the workflow notifications that will be sent when a new job posting is submitted by the hiring manager. For details, refer to Postings. |
Applicant Recommendation | System Administration > Administration > Profiles > Workflow Configuration Profile > Service Maintenance > Applicant Recommendation Determines the workflow notifications that will be sent when an applicant is recommended for hire. For details, refer to Applicant Overview. |
