Interviews Page

Use this page to document the results of interviews with the applicant. This includes the dates of the interviews, names of the interviewers, and ratings of the candidate. You can enter information on up to five interviews.

This page is intended to accommodate situations where a candidate was interviewed before an Applicant Tracking record could be entered. If the applicant has not yet been interviewed, leave the page blank.

After you complete this page (or if you have no information to enter), click Next. This displays a message indicating the applicant's record has been saved, unless your system includes one or more required user-defined pages. For details, refer to the next section, User-Defined Pages.

Description

Date

Date of the interview.

Interviewer

Code identifying the interviewer, as defined in Applicant Tracking’s Interviewer table If the interview was conducted by a team or search committee, enter the code assigned to either the group or lead interviewer.

Rating

Rating of the applicant as determined by the interviewer or search group. These ratings are arbitrary and may include a letter scale, such as A through F, or a numerical scale, such as 1 through 10. Character/2

Comments

Comments or notes on interviews, evaluations, or other information regarding the candidate. You can enter up to eight lines of text. Character/46

As with word processing software, words “wrap” to the next line when you reach the end of a line. You do not need to press <Enter>to end a line.
