Personnel Reports - Qualified Teacher Course Report
Use this option to generate the following reports on teachers' qualifications for teaching specific courses:
Detail Report | Lists teachers, courses, buildings, school years, number of students, and related information. The report indicates whether the teachers are qualified or unqualified to teach the courses. For teachers who are qualified, the report shows the qualifications met. |
Summary Report | Limits the report to teachers who do not meet requirements for teaching the courses indicated. |
These reports, which only apply to school districts, are used in Highly Qualified Teacher reporting. In addition to teacher and course data, the reports provide a summary page showing the number of courses and the number and percentage of teachers who are unqualified.

Fields and Descriptions
Report Criteria Section
Use the following fields to select the records to include in the report. All of the information referenced by these fields is based on records created in the Human Resources - Qualified Teacher Course Data Page.
Field | Description |
---|---|
School Year | Year that applies to the course being taught. To select more than one year, use the pipe symbol to separate the years, for example, 2017|2018|2019. To select a range of years, use the colon symbol, for example, 2017:2019. |
Building | Code identifying a building, as defined in Security's Location Codes table. To select an individual building, use the drop-down list. To select multiple buildings, use the pipe symbol between codes, for example, 110|230|420. |
Course | Code or short title identifying a course, as defined in the Qualified Teacher Course Data option. To select multiple courses, use the pipe symbol between entries, for example, 1835|4090|7260. |
Course Section | Whole number identifying the section during which a course is taught, depending on how your course sections are coded. To select multiple sections, use the pipe symbol between numbers, for example, 10|20|40. To specify a series of course sections, use the colon symbol, for example, 100:500. |
Summer School | Checkbox indicating whether a course is taught in summer school.
|
State Course Equivalent | Code or title used by the state to identify the course that is the equivalent of the one taught in your district. To select multiple codes, use the pipe symbol between each, for example, 151020|153140|189210. |
Description | Full title or description of the course. To select a group of courses that begin with the same descriptions, use the asterisk symbol, for example, English* to select all courses whose descriptions begin with the word English. However, because of the possibly wide variance of descriptions, usually this field should be left blank. |
Staff ID | Employee ID number identifying a teacher. You can use the pipe symbol to separate IDs, for example, 14321|18725|20481. If all of your ID numbers are the same length, you can also use the colon symbol to specify a range of IDs, for example, 12000:15000. |
