Service Maintenance Options

The Service Maintenance menu of the Workflow Configuration Profile is where you configure the workflows your organization uses and set up communication paths between submitters and approvers.

Menu Path

From the System Administration menu, select All. From the Profiles menu, select Workflow Configuration Profile. The Workflow Configuration Profile page opens and defaults to the Global Settings page. Select an option to enter configuration settings.

Description

Global Settings

Enables you to configure the Workflow System. Using this option, you can identify the servers to access, determine the types of workflow notifications to support, and enter settings for the system's email task scheduler.

Employee Leave Request

Enables you to set up the Employee Leave Request Workflow, which allows employees to initiate leave requests, process approvals, and interface leave requests to either Attendance or Employee Timesheets.

Applicant Recommendation

Enables you to set up the Applicant Recommendation Workflow for processing background and reference checks; performing immunization, employment, and certification verifications; and issuing recommendation approvals. The workflow notifies staff when an applicant has been approved and may be hired.

Employee New Hire Notification

Enables you to configure the Employee New Hire Notification Workflow, which issues notifications to staff when an employee has been hired.

Employee Termination

Enables you to set up the Employee Termination Workflow for initiating terminations, processing related approvals, and notifying staff.

Budget Adjustment

Enables you to set up notifications that will be sent to approvers of budget adjustments, as well as the users who entered them.

Budget Transfer

Enables you to set up notifications that will be sent to approvers of budget transfers, as well as the users who entered them.

Accounts Payable

Enables your organization to set up notifications that will be sent to approvers of accounts payable, as well as the users who entered them.

Requisitions

Enables you to set up notifications that will be sent to approvers of requisitions, as well as the users who entered them.

Purchase Orders

Enables you to set up notifications that will be sent to approvers of purchase orders, as well as the users who entered them.

Change Orders

Enables you to set up notifications that will be sent to approvers of change orders, as well as the users who entered them.

Enables you to activate advanced workflows and select which advanced workflows your organization uses, set up communication paths for the data, and set scheduling.
