eReference Question Setup

On this page, you can define the questions that will be used for verification on the eReference questionnaire. The questions are organized by Position Type and are accessed via a link that will be in an email sent to the email addresses provided by the applicant as a reference. The eReference emails are sent to a reference when a qualified (meets minimum requirements) application is successfully submitted.

To add, edit, or delete a question from the Defined Questions listing, follow the same procedures as previously outlined in the Question Bank Questions Section. The eReference defined questions only have district-defined response types. District-defined questioned require you to create question text that will appear to the applicant and may only allow one answer, based on the type of response. District-defined questions have the following Response Types: CheckBox, Date, DropDown, Information, Numeric, and TextBox.

When a question is associated with a position type, it will no longer display in the Defined Questions section. However, it will be available for selection in other position types.

The procedures and fields used in eReference Question Setup page and its related Add New Question and Edit Question pages are the same as those that apply to the eEmployment Question Setup page.

Note
When an email address is entered in the eReferences Email Template field on the Hire Process Email Setup page, you will be required to set up the eReference questionnaire for each position type associated with a question defined with a Response Type of References. If you do not set up the eReference questionnaire for a position type, you will not be able to submit a job posting for that position type.
