Load Aesop Attendance Reports

The Load Aesop Attendance option produces two reports: Load Error Report and Pre-Posting Report. These reports can be used together to determine if changes need to be made before posting the data. You can re-run an Aesop interface file as many times as you wish until you post the data. The interface will simply delete all the old records with the Aesop Run Number entered and insert the records from the new export file.

Load Error Report

The Load Error Report lists two types of messages: Errors and Warnings.

• If an Error message is shown, that timecard will not be created when the Post option is used.
• A Warning message represents a possible error, but an attendance record can still be created.

The report is ordered by error type (Error or Warning) first, and then by employee ID, Aesop ID number, and finally by job date.

Pre-Posting Report

The Pre-Posting Report will show all the pertinent information for creating the attendance record. The last column, Post, will show if an attendance record will be created. If the column contains a "Y", then an attendance record will be created; if "N" displays, no attendance record will be created when the Post option is used.
