25.7 General Release Note

Enhancements to position control tracking.

With the release of 25.7, users will have the ability to track additional position information.

• Ability to track based on Position Status (Active, Inactive and Closed).

• Ability to track based on Supervisor Job Class and Position.

• Ability to track 10 User Defined fields.

• Ability to track employee assignments for current and future dates.

• Enhanced position reporting with the ability to export as a CSV or to Excel.

• Audit Trail to track updates to a position.

Addition of date driven position control.

New ability to review positions for any “As of” date to determine authorized, filled and vacant FTEs.

• Position control now answers questions such as:

  • “How many teachers will I have at Hanover Elementary School for the start of school on 8/18/25?”

  • “How many teacher vacancies do I have at Miller Heights for the start of school on 8/18/25?” 

• Ability to identity Position Changes by date and enter changes in advance.

Change request form for positions.

In 25.7, users can now place change requests for positions via a change request form based on an effective date. The form allows users to make a request for the following changes to positions:

• Funding Change 

• FTE adjustment 

• FTE transfer 

• Location Change 

• Status Change 

• Title Change

Position Requisitions.

Navigation: Human Resource → Entry & Processing (Position Control) → Position Requisitions.

We have discontinued the outdated Position Request module and introduced a modern, streamlined Position Requisitions module built from the ground up. This new and improved module allows you to easily create Requisition Requests in eFinancePlus (eFP) that automatically sync with Applicant Tracking (ATS), greatly enhancing the core Position Control functionality.

• eFinancePlus (eFP) v25.7+

• Applicant Tracking (ATS)

• Position Control Enabled

• Active integration between eFinancePlus (eFP) and Applicant Tracking (ATS).

Enhanced Applicant Tracking integration.

Highlights:

• Improved integration support for net new employees hired

• Added integration support for former employees rehired

• Added integration support for employees hired for multiple part-time roles

• Added integration support for employees transferring from one position to a newly hired one

New Import functionality.

Added the ability to import future pay rates with position assignments that include future effective dates.

Review all position occupants.

Review current, past, or future occupants with each position based on an “as of” date.

Termination Process.

• Last Day Worked is now required.

  • Last Day Worked will update the Employee Pay Rate- End Date field.

  • Last Date to Pay will update the Employee Pay Rate-Pay End Date field.
