Transferring the Data File

Menu Path: From eForms and Tools, select All, select Tools, and then select Upload Files.

The export file produced from the Aesop system software must be transferred to the Tape directory defined by the environmental variable $FASTAPDIR. In PowerSchool ERP, this directory defines where all media files are written by default. The location of the Tape directory (FASTAPDIR) in PowerSchool ERP databases is x:/spidev/spifps/log, where "x" is the drive letter assigned by the installer.

  1. For Copy File Name, click Choose File to select the file to be copied to the PowerSchool ERP application server.

  2. Select the Directory:

    • D:/user/support/rpt

    • D:/spi/spifps/logs

    • D:/[sitecode]/faslog

  3. Enter aeswabs.txt for the Server File Name. This is the default file name from the Load Aesop Attendance page.
