Before configuring Position Control 25.7, the following Fund Accounting prerequisites must be in place.

The Full Account Structure must be configured on the Fund Accounting profile, if applicable. The account structure determines the format of account codes used in expenditure distributions. If your district uses a Full Account Structure, verify that it is correctly configured before creating positions with expenditure distributions. Ensure that Full Account Structure is configured before creating positions, if applicable.

The budget year must be set up on the Budget Analyst Profile page.

Expenditure ledgers must exist for the budget year.

The Organization Chart and Account List must be populated with the codes you plan to use in position expenditure distributions. Position expenditure distributions reference the organization chart codes and account list codes associated with the budget year.
