Professional Development - Data Flow

These sections lead you through the basic processes in Professional Development, from registering as an external participant/instructor and submitting a course through registration and completion. For the purpose of this data flow, the following are defined:

• In the Workflow Configuration Profile User Forms tab for Professional Development, the following checkboxes are selected:
  Require Approval for New Registration?
  Notify Approver - New User Registration
  Notify User - Registration Approved
  Notify User - Registration Denied

• In the Workflow Configuration Profile Course Forms tab for Professional Development, the following checkboxes are selected:
  Notify Approver - Course Submitted
  Notify Instructor - Course Approved
  Notify Instructor - Course Denied
  Notify Instructor - Course Canceled 
  Notify Participants - Course Canceled

• In the Workflow Configuration Profile Course Registration Forms for Professional Development, the following checkboxes are selected:
  Notify Participant - Successful Registration
  Notify Participant - Wait List
  Notify Participant - Course Dropped
  Notify Participant - Registered after Wait List
